About Our Pastors
His church, Christian House of Prayer- San Angelo, is a fast growing, multi-faceted ministry that caters to a "whole family concept". Founded in 1994, the church has established an elementary school- Gateway Christian Academy & Learning Center, the HIS STEPS (a faith-based addiction recovery program for adults and teens), and several other outreach ministry functions. He is the author of the profound and recently released book entitled, The Nature of Divine Realationships. Lastly, he and his wife are the founders of the Win-Win Marriage Minstries where they conduct, as well as host, conferences and couples retreats annually .
Pastor Dawkins and his wife Gwendolyn are natives of Brooklyn, New York. They have been married for 30 years and have two sons, Aaron (29) and his wife Wintana and Moshe (24). They also have one granddaughter born December 2010 named Zoe.

Pastor/First Lady Gwendolyn Dawkins is the Executive Administrator of the Christian House of Prayer. She has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and holds a Master's degree in Biblical Studies. This true woman of God has been empowered by the Holy Spirit to operate in a keen sense of God's presence and direction.
Together, our Pastors have led our church toward holiness and an academic and spiritual knowledge of the Scriptures at various levels to include adults in Bible Study, the young people in Teen Discipleship and the children of Gateway Christian Academy.
Pastor Ralph Dawkins is an ordained and license minister with the Christian House of Prayer, Covenant Connections International, Killeen, Texas since 1994. He is a board certified counselor with the Therapon Institute, Dallas, Texas and holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Angelo State University, and a Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies and Theology. He is a chartered member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and has completed ministerial training at the Sonship School of the Firstborn, Christian House of Prayer ministries in 2007.
